Out of many, drawing and painting is one profession where formally educated and informally educated have been equally successful. To become a successful artist (painter there are three things you must have talent and I mean real god talent, should have a style ie your own philosophy that you want to share and you must know how to sell it.
What do painters do?
An artist (painter) is a person engaged in one or more of any of a broad spectrum of activities related to creating art, practicing the arts and/or demonstrating an art related to painting or drawing. A painter, uses painting as a mode of his/her creative expression, and the forms of painting can be numerous. Paintings can be naturalistic and representational (as in a still life or landscape painting), photographic, abstract, be loaded with narrative content, symbolism, emotion or be political in nature.
There are formal courses available for learning painting; however just like other arts, we have success stories of both, the formally educated type and not formally educated types. Usually three things are considered as a must have to be a successful artist, one, the artist must be good in one form of the art, two, he/she must have a philosophy, something that he conveys through his/her art and three, he/she must be a good marketer.
No strict education requirements but one must have is painting skills and techniques. Many painters study fine arts as subject in graduation and post graduation. One can begin as BA in Painting (3 years) or Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) (4 years). 10+2 students of any stream are eligible for these courses. Diploma in Painting can also be done and the duration is two years. At the post graduation level the course offered is MFA. The duration of this course is two years. BFA pass students are eligible for MFA course. Many other short duration courses are also offered by universities and colleges all over India. The importance of Chartered Accountants has increased with the growth of capital and money market in India. An accountant will stay busy doing a lot of things, depending on his area of expertise like:
An auditor might have to visit a client location, analyze the financial data and perform test inventory counts to find out if there has been any misstatement.
An accountant working for a private sector company would be analyzing data and preparing reports to help the management with decision- making.
A tax accountant would be working on tax returns and researching ways to save his client’s tax incidence by using legal tax saving methods. As the tax deadline approaches, his workload increases too, as he has to file the returns before the stipulated date.
